Last week students learned the meaning and importance of biodiversity. We watched a great Ted Talk called, "Richard Turere: My Invention that made Peace with Lions". This clip was a great way to end our lesson on biodiversity. It was also an excellent lead to our research, because Richard does a great job of demonstrating scholarly behaviors at such a young age. This week all students will receive research information and requirements.
1st & 2nd Graders are starting their research on endangered species. For homework they will need to use Symbaloo (found under Student Blog) and the list I provided in the research packet to help them decide which endangered species they would like to investigate.
